Interview

Tell us a little bit about your personality. I'm more of a homebody than a partier. I love to read, watch movies, and attempt to cook. Sometimes, I get the itch to dance, and that's when I usually treat my friends to a good show full of embarrassing moments.

How did you get into modeling? I won a modeling contract at 17 after my mom forced me to do a pageant.

What do you like most about being a model? I love the range of opportunities that open with each new shoot. You never know who may be scouting for another project.

How do you spend your time when you're not modeling? I travel around the country as a safety director.

What is your best physical feature? My eyes. There's a lot of different colors to them, and people randomly stop and say that my eyes are pretty.

What is the first thing that attracts you to a guy? Nice posture and sculpted arms. I think nice posture signifies confidence which is much better than a guy that needs constant reassurance. The arms are just a selfish thing that I want because I love being held and picked up.

What is the best pick up line a guy has used on you? A guy asked me if I liked firefighters because he'd love to have me slide down his pole.

Describe your idea of a perfect date. Trying out a new restaurant and catching a local band after for some dancing and drinks.

If you could customize any car, what would it be? How would you customize it? A convertible 370Z. I would put a fish tank in it. I saw that on a show once, and I've thought that was the coolest modification since. I'd give my fish fighting names like Leonidas, Crixus, or some other gladiator or awesome Roman person, and we'd cruise around with the top down.

What is something people would be surprised to know about you? I could talk for hours about zombie movies, strategies for when the zombie apocalypse occurs, and who I'd have on my survival team. I even bought a zombie apocalypse survival guide to prepare.

If you could meet one famous person or celebrity, who would it be and why? Elizabeth Hurley. I've always had a crush on her. Who knows, I might get lucky.

What is the craziest thing you’ve done or would like to do if you had the chance? I washed myself with men's body wash in a baby pool while being sprayed with freezing water from a hose on MTV Spring Break. My dad was so proud when he saw me.

What are your biggest pet peeves? Mouth breathers and dishes in the sink. Both gross me out.

Aside from being our featured model, what can we expect from Tanah Combs in 2011? Bikinis! I'm in a few contests and have some shoots lined up fairly soon. I'll also be spokes modeling and walking the runways.
