Interview

Tell us a little bit about your personality. Nutshell: a quirky environmentally conscious introverted extrovert that works in the spotlight but absolutely needs my private space who plans to make a dent in helping the world and all the living things in it. I laugh a lot, I love a lot, I do a lot, I dream a lot, I will change a lot.

How did you get into modeling? I have always been a dancer first. When I was a part of an international dance troupe, we had offers to shoot for various jobs and the work never seemed to stop. Been very lucky, what a fun living.

What do you like most about being a model? How ridiculously unrealistic the lifestyle is. You get paid to play, meet passionate talented people (& some idiots), go amazing places, do amazing things, dress extraneously and it's all on film so you can't forget it if you wanted to.

How do you spend your time when you're not modeling? I am the editor of an online publication ModelDash so constantly working, I am in school for zoology, I am in the dance studio, I teach pole dance classes, I volunteer, I have a lot of animals, I love the sun so anything in it.

What is your best physical feature? I get "you're teeth are so white!" a lot, so thank you genetics. And I am currently living in Argentina and all the sleazy guys hear say "hermosos ojos !" all the time, but I think they say that to everyone... So you tell me, I dunno.

What is the first thing that attracts you to a guy? Looks: how they carry themselves, you can always tell if someone has drive and you can't fake that. Style, if you are aware of how you present yourself. Besides looks: Intelligence, I can't hang with someone that has a high school vocabulary.

What is the best pick up line a guy has used on you? Oh Facebook chat is the worst. I log on and forget to turn it off so when I return I literally have 10 windows that say something completely inappropriate and 97 windows open and they ALL say "hey" what the eff is "hey"????! I'd rather you say something inappropriate.

Describe your idea of a perfect date. I'd rather not do dates. I'm too busy doing me. But I'll let you know when someone impresses me with a date suggestion. Preferably involving gorillas and ice cream. I love ice cream.

If you could customize any car, what would it be? How would you customize it? Custom! I have so many ideas. It would have to be an old sports car, like a Healey, probably involve some Eco friendly switch :)

What is something people would be surprised to know about you? People that know me aren't surprised with the crazy stuff I pull out. People that don't know me: I tend to have a lot of surprises. Most of which, you'll never know.

If you could meet one famous person or celebrity, who would it be and why? Meeting celebrities isn't at the top of my list. But I respect any public figure trying to make a difference. (and maybe Pharrel)

What is the craziest thing you’ve done or would like to do if you had the chance? Let's just say... daily. Gotta meet me to find out what I mean by that. My best friend just told me today "your life is like a freakin movie" ha, maybe I go looking for all the off the wall things in life.

What are your biggest pet peeves? Oh shit. WAY too many to list. I am anal about things & even annoy myself. Top of my head, using profanity EXCESSIVELY. Using prepositions at the end of a sentence. Biting utensils. Ugh. I'm getting annoyed, imma stop.

Aside from being our featured model, what can we expect from Shannon Noelle n in 2011? Like I said I'm the editor of ModelDash.com and we are going to be doing A LOT this year, so photogs, models, industry peeps be ready ;) Other than that, I have some international gigs lined up, I’ll be relocating quite a bit. Things change weekly so you'll just have to follow akin with me :)

Any last words to your supporters and future fans? "Fans" is a little extreme. Haven't done enough to have fans, but if you support my crazy life and enjoy my unusual adventures, thank you for reminding me it's allll worth it! And let's get ice cream sometime :)
