Interview

Give us a brief background about yourself. I'm a 22 year old model, dancer, and student in San Diego. I've been a Hooters girl for almost two years, I'm a senior at San Diego State, and I'm a go go dancer on the weekends.

How did you get started in modeling? It all started with Hooters calendar submissions, I first began working with the talented Aaron Riveroll, and continued on from there.

What has been your biggest accomplishment as a model? The cover of Rukus magazine, May 2011.

In your opinion, what sets you apart from other models? I hail from an incredibly diverse background. My mother is Alaskan Indian (Tlingit) and Filipino, while my father is African American. I don't see many girls like me represented in mainstream modeling.

Are you looking to expand into other fields besides modeling? Absolutely. My primary focus is school, but I would definitely want to build my experience as a professional dancer.

What is your opinion on models posing for Playboy? Great exposure, but not the direction I personally wish to go in.

What physical feature do you get the most compliments on? I'm often told I have a great smile.

Are you currently single or taken? Taken.

What is a trait a guy must have if he was to date you? You must be self-assured. I don't like insecurity, it seems to always lead to jealousy and trust issues.

If you could give a dating tip to a guy, what would it be? Go out with both of her friends and yours, you'll both be more comfortable and it's important to know the people who you and her trust the most!

Give us an example of what a typical weekend would be like for you? During the summer, it's work out, work/dance, hang out with friends, and fit in as much mischief as possible.

What are you passions/hobbies? Dancing, boxing, creating things, whether it's cooking, costumes, or fun little art projects.

What is something people would be surprised to know about you? I was raised within the American Indian community and relate more to my Tlingit side.

Where do you see yourself 10 years from now? I like to leave it open. One thing that ironically I don't believe in, is fate.

What would you like to say to your supporters and future fans? Thank you so much for supporting me, I'm definitely hoping to keep up the momentum. I'm nothing without the people who wish me well and would help me further my modeling and dancing career! So grateful.
