Interview

Give us a brief background about yourself. I’m a true Jersey girl, born and raised, just trying to see more of the world through what I do. I’ve become well-rounded because of my constant desire to experience something new.

How did you get started in modeling? I’ve always wanted to give it a try and I’m also a fan of cars. Luckily, I have a friend who helped me start off with car shows, where I met some amazing girls in the business that were able to help me out, and I took it from there. I am more than grateful to these people.

What has been your biggest accomplishment as a model? My biggest accomplishment as a model, personally, would have to be just gathering up the courage to put myself out there. I used to be really shy, but modeling has definitely given me confidence. Every woman should have confidence.

In your opinion, what sets you apart from other models? Modeling doesn’t define who I am. I like to think I have two different personas, like Superman and Clark Kent. Unfortunately, quite often when people meet me as the model Christine, I’m stereotyped. Little do they know, I have brains, too. I’m currently in my senior year at a university, studying for my Bachelor’s degree, and will be graduating with honors. It works to my advantage, though. I appreciate people who are willing to discover who I am, instead of being quick to assume they have me all figured out, and more so, accept all aspects of me. Modeling helps me to figure out who is worth my time.

Are you looking to expand into other fields besides modeling? I am plenty of steps ahead of you.

What is your opinion on models posing for Playboy? Would you consider posing? While I’m not opposed to Playboy, I wouldn’t consider posing, but that’s just my preference. The models who pose for Playboy are gorgeous and I’m sure they’re happy and proud of what they do. I like to say, “Let a bitch do what she wants.”

Have you had any bad or embarrassing experiences during a shoot? Tell us one. The worst experience I’ve had was when I had to do a photo shoot on a fire escape of someone’s Manhattan apartment in the freezing cold wearing hardly anything. It started to sleet while we were shooting and I couldn’t feel my body when we were done.

Are you currently single or taken? Single! I don’t have time to think about my love life right now. This is my “me” time.

What characteristics or traits do you look for in a guy? I would like someone who is very similar to me – driven, down-to-earth, and successful.

What would you consider a perfect date? I’m very traditional. I appreciate being wined and dined because I personally don’t think anyone could go wrong with a dinner date. Not to mention, it’s an opportunity to get to know my date better.

Give us an example of what a typical weekend would be like for you? I usually sleep in until the afternoon, work during the day until late at night, but then I’m still able to drag myself out afterwards. Even though it would be nice to knock out right after, nothing is more relaxing and rewarding than letting loose and being with my friends. It’s tough tending to both lives, but I feel like I’ve already had to grow up too quickly. I want to take full advantage of my youth before it’s gone.

What are you passions/hobbies? I love music – all types and aspects. I’m not particularly amazing at singing or playing any of the instruments I am able to play, but I do simply enjoy trying. It’s nothing serious. What’s the point of a hobby if you’re not having fun with it?

What is something people would be surprised to know about you? I’m always so crazy busy. To most people who don’t know me, I come off as this “party girl” who is always having fun, when in actuality, I’m working my ass off. It’s funny because when I meet guys, they often think I’m purposely blowing them off when they try to make plans to take me out. I truly have my hands tied!

Aside from being our Featured Model, what can we expect from you in the upcoming 2011-12 year? I’m planning on traveling this year and I’m hoping it will help me to expand. I want to meet the world.
