Tell us a little bit about your personality. I'm really down to earth, kinda fun loving girl. I love to be super goofy and just have a good time. I don't drink or smoke, so trust me, my craziness is pure ME! I love meeting people, so I'm usually the first girl that comes up and starts a convo.
Where were you born and where did you grow up? I was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and raised partially in California so I'm a beach babe. I've lived in Arkansas almost my whole life after that. It taught me how to be a better person and just not to take things for granted.
How did you get into modeling? I worked a couple HIN booths, and I've always been really into the import cars, so I started judging the shows and various shows around the United States. I've modeled since I was 17, so the import scene was just a major hobby.
What do you like most about being a model? I love meeting people and networking. Most of all, I love the cars at the shows. Just seeing the talent at the import shows allows me to learn more and more about cars. I'm not just a model, I work on my cars too. ;)
How do you spend your time when you're not modeling? I'm a full time student studying Graphic Design and Law, so I tend to stay pretty busy with school. I also hold a full time job back home and part time one as well. When I'm not modeling, I usually just read a lot (yes I'm a book nerd) or just hang out with friends. I'm a HUGE nerd, so anything with technology I'm ALL over!
What is your best physical feature? People say my legs. Apparently I photograph super tall, haha, but I take that as a compliment. I'm taller than most Asian girls I know, minus a few runway models.
What is the first thing that attracts you to a guy? His personality. If he can make me laugh, then we'll probably be friends. I don't like guys who shower you with compliments, casual conversations are always the best and more natural. Be yourself!
Describe your idea of a perfect date. Honestly, just cooking dinner at home and curling up and watching a movie is fine with me. :) Just the quality quiet time should soften the nervousness. Movies in a crowded theater are always a no no for a date.
If you could customize any car, what would it be? How would you customize it? I'd probably customize my own Supra. Although many people have modified a Supra, I think I'd design my own rims. Yes, DESIGN them, down to the very last spokes, so that way I know it was purely my design. :) Interior of course also!
What is something people would be surprised to know about you? That I'm actually a very dedicated student. I love spending time reading books, even if it's not for school. I love learning new things and I constantly have a charge of random facts I can throw out. :) I also love working on my own cars. No man needed for that!
What websites do you spend most of your time on? Twitter!! I'm so addicted. :) Also, I keep Facebook for my personal friends and family.
What is your biggest pet peeve? COCKINESS! Don't EVER be cocky with me, or throw me at attitude. I can do it right back!
Aside from being our featured model, what can we expect from Ashley Pham in 2010? Lots and lots of hard work! I'm moving to Chicago in June of 2010, so let's rock it and see what this year holds!
Any last words to your supporters and future fans? I just want to thank everyone for helping me out and supporting me when I need them! My friends and family mean everything to me!
