Tell us a little bit about your personality. I'm outgoing, friendly, I think I have a playful and a little bit sarcastic sense of humor. If you can't take sarcasm you might not get my personality, some people take it the wrong way.
Where were you born and where did you grow up? I was born about 30 miles west of Chicago in Aurora, IL and grew up in a town about 10 miles east of that called Warrenville.
How did you get into modeling? I had a boyfriend take some photos of me in my bathroom, we used a black velvet blanket for a "back drop" that we threw over the shower rod. I think we even used a disposable camera, I didn't have a digital at the time. Since the photos had terrible red eye I took them to the Kodak machine at Walgreens and turned them into black and whites so you couldn’t tell. I submitted those online to a local agency and I got a call a week later to work my first trade show and that led to other models and agents asking me to do more interesting jobs.
What do you think is your best physical feature? I like my hair the best, my eyes a close second. Guys that like me are guys who like some junk in the trunk :)
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I would stretch my legs so I could be taller, they have surgery for a lot of things but a growth spurt pill for shorties would be nice, I'm only 5'3.
What do you like to do when you're not modeling? Hobbies? I like to travel, I've been all over the USA, I'd like to travel abroad more, I've never even been to Mexico or Canada! I need to get my passport application in asap!
What would you say a guy has to do to get your attention? If they are really funny, flattering or just a nice gentlemanly type they have my attention. Guys that don't always try to be the center of attention are great too, that's my job :)
What is your idea of a perfect date? I like going to comedy clubs, movies, a new restaurant I haven't tried yet. Nightclubs are a bad place to get to know someone, you can't even hear what people are saying.
Which websites would you say you spend most of your time on? I seem to be having a Facebook addiction to Mafia Wars, Texas Hold Um and Fashion Wars!
If you could customize any car, what would it be? How would you customize it? I actually work on the auto show circuit for VW and the Volkswagen GTI is a spunky little car, you can do a lot with that little thing to spunk it up and pimp it out!!! I've driven it on a closed course to test out all the features like the ASR and ESP and it handles really well, it was really fun to drive, totally different then my huge SUV. If I wasn't too old I'd try to be a driver in the TDI Cup Race, that would be fun.
What is something people would be surprised to know about you? Special talents? I am a Graphologist as well as a model, do you know what that means??? I'm a handwriting analyst, I can look at your cursive writing and read you like a book without even knowing you.
What is your biggest pet peeve? When I KNOW I'm right about something and someone tries to argue it. I'll go to great lengths to prove my point, I can't just let it go... only if I really really KNOW I'm right.
Aside from being our featured model, what can we expect from Randi Lange in 2009? You'll be able to come visit me at the Volkswagen booth during the 2009-2010 General Motor Trend Auto Shows and I'm also working on my school assembly programs, I'm touring with a K-12 program, four of them to be exact, teaching kids about Fitness and Nutrition, Money Matters For Kids, Bullying and Internet Technology & Safety.
