Tell us a little bit about your personality. Growing up in a single-parent home has made me independent. I’m VERY spontaneous and random. On typical day, I like to just kick back and relax and play video games!! I’m a nerd and a geek. During school, I like to bury myself in my study. I’m the kind of girl that people are scared to approach, but I don’t bite! (really) I’m very friendly and outgoing- so next time you see me, don’t be afraid to say hi!
Where were you born and where did you grow up? I was born in Taipei, Taiwan, but lived in Japan when I was a toddler. After spending my childhood in Taiwan, I currently live in California, USA.
How did you get into modeling? I got contacted by Formula Drift when I was 14, but I couldn’t model until I was 18. I was always a bit more boyish, so my first intention of doing it was to get into shows and I get paid for it. After couple years of on and off (modeling), I really enjoyed it; its fun and you get to meet a lot of interesting people. But I would have to say that I am more of a Go-Go dancer than a model - I have a natural high and I dance anywhere, anytime. So, please don’t stop the music!
What do you think is your best physical feature? My best physical feature, as I’ve been told, is my smile. But I can’t leave out my eyes. Haha, my eyes say a lot about me. ^__^
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? If I could, I wouldn’t. Every part of my body is made of my mother and my father’s gene. My father passed away, and I’m his legacy; so I wouldn’t change it for the world if I was asked to go on 90210.
What do you like to do when you're not modeling? Hobbies? When I’m not modeling, you can find me in front of my TV playing video games. But if I’m not there, then I’ll be at a dance session with my friends. I dance to express not impress. I wouldn’t say I typically have one thing I’m stuck on. I like to do extreme sports- I still want to do skydiving, bungee jumping, hang-gliding, wind surfing...you know those adrenaline pumping sports.
What would you say a guy has to do to get your attention? If I was single: then a guy would catch my attention if he just talks to me and able to carry a conversation. No need for something fancy- but a knight in shining armor riding on a stallion would be epic. (Haha) Those fantasy days are over—I’m happily taken right now! Gomennasai~~
What is your idea of a perfect date? Hm, never really thought about this in real time...I mean, I was in my own fantasy world when I was younger. I only dreamt of knights in shining armor coming to rescue me. Hehe, but truthfully speaking, I like surprises. So I put my faith in my date to show me a fun time. I do like a good meal though. But other than that, we can be chilling at a lounge, or even playing in an arcade. I can’t really say, it varies from guy to guy. ^___~
Which websites would you say you spend most of your time on? Facebook...doubt I’m the first one to say that. Yep! I play the applications on there... Poker, Mafia Wars (add me people! Haha), and I play Mah Jong!!
If you could customize any car, what would it be? How would you customize it? Hmmm...well I was always a big fan of just being an onlooker speculating other people’s creation. But I would like to make a car into something that looks like it’ll transform into a transformer robot! Muhahahha, my boyfriend has a Z, so we’re thinking of doing that. Sometimes in the near future, hopefully, we can be featured! ^O^V
What is something people would be surprised to know about you? Special talents? I’m double jointed on my fingers. (if you don’t know what that is, Google it!) Haha, yea, pretty cool eh? I should brag about my massage skills, sorry no happy ending though. Hehe, everyone loves my massage, I know where to hit all the right places. ^__~
What is your biggest pet peeve? Ohhh, I made a list somewhere before... but it vanished... Forewarning, I’ll be ranting a little...But just off the top of my head, I don’t like Asian girls with HIGH pitched voice that are trying to be extra “kawaii” (Japanese word for cute). Those girls try TOO hard and it’s stupid. I also don’t like people who change lanes and slow down or stop when there is NO car in front of them. Like really??? -____-; To add on, I get a bit irritated by people who ask the same question over and over...weren’t you listening? I think my list can go on and on...let’s just leave it at that. =P
Aside from being our featured model, what can we expect from Miyouko Hijikata in 2009? If you are injured and go to a hospital, you’ll be lucky enough to have me as your nurse. But only in surgery though~ Hehe. Other than that, this year I can’t be sure what to expect from myself. I like to live on the edge and take each day head on!
