Tell us a little bit about your personality. I'm the typical girly girl. I like to shop, and get all dressed up. I'm just a nice girl that likes to have fun. I get along with everyone, and unlike other girls who claim they can't be friends with other women, I love hanging out with girls! I'm young and still finding myself. I've realized I don't have much patience but I'm very loving and forgiving.
Where were you born and where did you grow up? I was born in Sao Paolo Brazil; I grew up in Panama City, Panama. I spent my teens in Italy.
How did you get into modeling? At a very young age I loved being the center of attention, putting on fashion shows for my mom and her friends. I'd enter every talent show in school, and started doing local modeling at the age of 7. When I lived in Italy, I started going to castings and auditions more regularly and that is where I started to take modeling more seriously.
What do you think is your best physical feature? My lips.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? Maybe I'd be taller, or have bigger boobies ;) haha.
What do you like to do when you're not modeling? Hobbies? I recently started getting into working out regularly, and I love it! I also like to dance, travel, shop, and just go out with friends and have fun!
What would you say a guy has to do to get your attention? A guy has to be very respectful and careful what he says to get my attention. I get offended and turned off very easily when it comes to guys. I hate being hit on when I'm at the mall trying to shop or at the gym trying to work out. I think there is a time and place to approach a woman. He should just be nice and respectful and attentive. The first question should never be "Can I get your number?" at that point I know he's not interested in me or our compatibility but only looks.
What is your idea of a perfect date? A perfect date is not a specific scenario, but an enjoyable time with someone with which I feel comfortable. No pressure, just fun!

If you could customize any car, what would it be? How would you customize it? I recently got a Mustang GT. I'm looking into customizing it to look like a mix between a Saleen and a Roush. The possibilities are endless! There are so many body kits for Mustangs. I'm really into the carbon fiber, so I'd add carbon fiber mirrors, dash and the hood pins!!
What is something people would be surprised to know about you? Special talents? I don't know if people would be surprised but I speak 3 languages. English was my 3rd language and I plan on learning more.
What is your biggest pet peeve? I have so many! I hate when people take bites with their mouths full...gross!
Aside from being our featured model, what can we expect from Lais DeLeon in 2009? I'm in the semifinals of the Maxim Hometown Hotties competition starting June 29th, a few pageants, fitness comps, and hopefully SEMA and HIN!
